Why Hire an End-of-life doula?

I am a certified End of Life Doula and this is a certification dealing with the end of life and the dying process. I provide many  different  services within my scope of practice that can assist with the dying person and their families. 

Many people are learning about this role but question how it differs from hospice. Hospice is an amazing committed entity but providing the time can be very challenging. End of Life Doula’s can take that time, the time needed, for each individual family. End of Life Doula’s assist with finding resources, explaining stages of the dying process and making sure needs are being met.
